So yeah, today I'm going to do a bit of sawing.

So let's start off by making sure you've

got a sturdy workspace.

Put your foot on it to make sure it's nice and sturdy.

That's it.

But we need a line.

We need a line to show where we're going to cut.

So ideally, you get a pen or pencil,

and let me show you one of Classy's tricks.

You see your saw?

You see your edge here?

This is a 90 degree angle.

There you go.

And this is a 45 degree angle.

So to make a straight line, we've

hooked it up to the piece of wood like this.

And now we've got a line.

All saws come like this.

That's good.

And obviously, I can't get all the way to the end.

So we can just flip it over to finish off

your perfectly straight 90 degree angle--

90 degree line.

I messed that one up.

But what you can do as well--

so here's your line.

Would work better with a pencil.

But what we can do--

I'll show you while we're here how to do a 45 degree angle.

So you use this side, and you put that up

to your plank of wood.

There we go.

Got it.

And then this becomes your 45 degree angle.
